Jerk's debut album "When Pure Is Defiled" made its ARIA debut this week, entering the national album charts at #38. The CD, which includes the two explosive singles "I Hate People Like That" and "Just What You Need" also features in the national Heavy Rock and Metal chart, claiming the #6 spot first week in.
The band is currently preparing to head north to Queensland for a series of gigs kicking off at the end of the week. Fans can check the Jerk boys out live on Thursday, May 1 at the Troccadero on the Gold Coast; Friday, May 2 at Brisbane's Waterloo Hotel and Saturday, May 3 at Maroochydore's Sands Hotel. Don't forget Jerk will also be appearing live in the flesh at the Skinny's instore on Saturday, May 3. The band will perform live and meet fans from 1pm.
