Evanescence die-hards should start getting pumped - the heavy-hitting rockers are about to deliver us their brand new single, 'Call Me When You're Sober', which will get its debut spin on Australian radio on August 4.
Dark, moody and powerful, packs a massive hard rock punch and Amy Lee's ever-stunning vocals take her reliably dark and emotional lyrics to new heights: "You never call me when you're sober, you only want it 'cause it's over."
'Call Me When You're Sober' will be the first single unleashed from the band's upcoming album, 'The Open Door', due for release on September 30 and Amy Lee recently said to Jam!Music that fans who reckon they know what the new LP from the multi-platinum selling rock outfit is going to sound like should think again...
"I think if people expect this album is going to be softer and more feminine and more wimpy, they're going to be surprised," Lee told JAM! Music. "It's not an album full of 'My Immortal'-like songs. Every song is completely different and I feel like at times it definitely goes heavier than we had the capacity to do before. But in a way that's still new and fun and unique and not trying to be like anything else that's out there."
While 'Call Me When You're Sober' doesn't hit radio next month, we've got a sneaky snippet of the track, plus a quick message from Amy herself, for you to check out. Take your very first listen right here...
