Starlight relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and community fundraisers like Star Ball to make a difference to the lives of sick children at a time when they need it most.

However in the next year there will be over 600,000 child admissions to hospitals across Australia. Currently, Starlight only reaches 1 in 3 of these children and their families.

The money raised from Star Ball will help give more of these children the opportunity to access and benefit from Starlight's innovative programs.

Since 1988 Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families, by delivering innovative programs designed to be an integral part of the total health care of children.

The Starlight Rooms are one of the many programs Starlight provides which restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away.

Starlight's other programs include Starlight Fun Centres, Starlight Express Vans, Starlight Escapes and Starlight's Wish granting.
