The band's debut album is a joint venture between Columbia Records and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records, and is a dream come true for the band who are barely out of high school.
"It's refreshing to see girls taking over again," says Wentz of Hey Monday, whose frontwoman Cassadee provides an effervescent splash in the testosterone-filled world of modern rock. "Wasn't this club getting a bit boring full of boys? Cassadee proves that if you have the pipes and the drive, you can be heard. This record will have you singing long after you get out of your car. Hey Monday are a Coke can that has been shaken and is simply waiting to be opened..."
As well as being signed to Pete Wentz's Decaydance label, alongside acts such as Panic At The Disco, lead singer Cassadee also features in the video for Fall Out Boy's latest smash 'America's Suitehearts'. Be sure to catch Hey Monday around Australia this February!
